Pride Parade 2007 -
City of Toronto

Spectacular display of colourful costumes, lively appearances and fabulous floats during the Pride Parade in Toronto on June 24. The Parade is a signature event and Canada’s largest gay pride celebrated annually.

Taste Of Asia - City of Markham

Promoting diversity and harmony, the town of Markham hosted "The Taste of Asia" festival on June 23. Highlights of the program were cultural flavors of food , sports, customs and arts in many forms that are unique to different Asian ethnic background.

Carrasauga - City of Mississauga

Carrasauga Festival of Cultures features
history, geography and delicacies. The event
was recently held at the Hershey Center in Mississauga. The set-up represents one-of-a-
kind international travel destinations to India, Philippines, Egypt, Africa, Armenia, China, Cyprus, Serbia, Poland and Scotland to name
a few. Yearly celebrated in recognition of diversity in the City of Mississauga.

Philippine Independence Day, Gala Night - City of Etobicoke

Gala night in commemoration of the 109th Philippine Independence day was held at
the Toronto Congress Center in Etobicoke on June 9. The guest of honor was Premier Dalton MacGuinty joined by MP Leader Jack Layton. Highlight of the event was the formal introduction of the PIDC's 2007 Beauty Pageant Winners and Ambassadors of Goodwill; Miss Little Philippines, Miss Junior, Miss Teens & Miss Philippines.

Picnic at the Park -
North York City

Still in line with the celebration of the Philippine Independence day, Filipinos enjoyed the Picnic at the Park held at Earl Bales Park on June 16. What a typical Filipino way of rejoicing not only freedom but friendship and good family bonding time. There were food galore and all sorts of entertainment from singing, dancing, acting, even grilling.
