Here comes the beauty of new life-SPRING, my favourite season of all. It is the end of winter and it is when we start to see the green grass and the flowers begin to bloom. Soon, we’ll have summer and this is indeed the splendour of four-season.

This month, we join every culture in celebration of spring and Earth Day to help save the environment. Come to Earth Day Canada’s flagship event in Downsview Park and enjoy environmentally-friendly activities, entertainment and exhibits – rain or shine – for the whole family! Another big event in Toronto this April is the World Wildlife Fund-Canada (known internationally as the World Wide Fund for Nature) sponsors a climb of downtown Toronto's CN Tower to benefit programs that fight global warming and protect the environment. We would also like to invite you to join the “20 Minute Toronto Make over” on April 18 and the Community Clean up Day on April 19 and let’s make it a habit to “Defeat Litter”.

We are also back to sharing with you success stories of an immigrant who followed her heart to be with her fiancé’ and although she was equipped with her educational tools, she still found it hard to start a living in a totally different world from where she came from. However, with her passion to succeed and cheery disposition in life, she survived the first four season of her life in Toronto and with the love of her life, after 16 years, she is now a woman that she wanted to be. Still keeping her authenticity and humbleness, hers is a story of richness, rag and back to riches.  No, she doesn’t have a perfect life and she’s not aiming for that neither, for her, what’s important is “progress not perfection”.

Accordingly, spring in Canada is also the most preferred time of the year to buy and sell properties.  Every year, as immigrants continue to land, the number of houses being sold keeps on increasing. Interestingly, immigrants are the driving force of real estate in Canada that keeps the business going and flourishing. Housing indeed is a solid investment.
