IN YOUR FACE!!
From your  ‘Behavior Police’

If there is a ‘fashion police’, GTA this month, has a ‘behavior police’.  Ever had the feeling that you wanted to tell some people off because their actions are not in conformity with good manners, social graces, proper breeding and even good hygiene? If you’re someone who is typically a ‘nice person’ and just bites your tongue, just grins and bears it, this is for you.  This is not exactly for the bourgeois and I don’t demand for finesse. We just want you to BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHER PEOPLE, especially when in public. Although ‘sticks and stones will hurt your bones and words won’t hurt you’, I still think people should be told when they’re wrong!

‘IN YOUR FACE’, is a collection of ‘blind items’ that are happening in reality from people who’s had unpleasant experiences from in and around the GTA. Rather than creating a scene in public or embarrass each other, I’ve written what you would have said to them, in their face!

A month has passed and your behavior police caught sight of these ‘behaviour violators’ while on patrol. They just haven’t got a clue that what they do annoys other people.  Let’s call their attention and let them know, in their face!

To that driver loudly playing his ‘ethnic music’ on the road, you can’t help but hear it blasting in your ears several feet away,

Can you please decrease the volume or better yet, keep your music to yourself!  I’m not interested in your music and neither are the rest of the drivers on the road, in your face!

To the lady clipping her nails in public

“Hey lady, please clip your nails at home or go to a nail spa, not in public – in your face!”

To pedestrians who cross anywhere on the street, wherever and whenever they please,

Do you know what pedestrian lanes are for?  It’s for pedestrians! Use it, for safety’s sake, in your face!

To the young guy on the elevator who got in on the ground floor just to get off on the next floor,

Why don’t you use your strong legs and take the stairs boy!  The exercise will do you good. If you’re lazy, you’ll grow old prematurely, in your face!

To TTC passengers who put their big bags next to them so nobody could take the seat,

Hey, can’t you see so many passengers are standing?  Be nice and take those bags down and let other paying passengers take that seat.  Otherwise, pay $2.75 for those bags and sit next to it, in your face!

Mind your manners; be in your best behavior.

You’ll never know, the ‘Behavior Police’ may be watching you!!  More next time!
