IN YOUR FACE!!
From your ‘Behavior Police’
If there is a ‘fashion police’, GTA this month, has a ‘behavior police’. Ever had the feeling that you wanted to tell some people off because their actions are not in conformity with good manners, social graces, proper breeding and even good hygiene? If you’re someone who is typically a ‘nice person’ and just bites your tongue, just grins and bears it, this is for you. This is not exactly for the bourgeois and I don’t demand for finesse. We just want you to BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHER PEOPLE, especially when in public. Although ‘sticks and stones will hurt your bones and words won’t hurt you’, I still think people should be told when they’re wrong!
‘IN YOUR FACE’, is a collection of ‘blind items’ that are happening in reality from people who’s had unpleasant experiences from in and around the GTA. Rather than creating a scene in public or embarrass each other, I’ve written what you would have said to them, in their face!

To the guy yawning in the bus of crowded people during my early morning commute without
covering his mouth –
“Will you please cover your mouth when you yawn and make sure you brush your teeth -
in your face!”
To the lady clipping her nails in public –
“Hey lady, please clip your nails at home or go to a nail spa, not in public – in your face!”
To the guy ‘excavating’ his ear with his long nail on his pinky finger on board the train –
“Ever heard of Qtips? You’re disgusting! You don’t do that in public. – in your face!”
To the guy who squeezed into the train with his jacket smelling like it’s not seen a washer in 6 months –
“Please send your jacket to the washer. You totally stink and I can’t breathe on the train” – in your face!
To the waitress at a restaurant who took our orders with nary a smile, and practically dumped the food tray with a thud on our table –
“If you don’t like your job, QUIT! Otherwise, take some training on good customer service.
Yes, you did not get a tip. Gee, I wonder why?? – in your face!”
Mind your manners; be in your best behavior.
You’ll never know, the ‘Behavior Police’ may be watching you!! More next time! |
