Canadian Club Sticky Ribs

Ingredients :

2 racks pork back ribs

1 Tbsp (15 mL) extra virgin olive oil

2 tsp (10 mL) each paprika, ground cumin and ground black pepper

1 tsp (5 mL) salt

2 Tbsp (25 mL) Canadian Club® whisky or water

3/4 cup (175 mL) Canadian Club® Chicken and Ribs Barbeque Sauce

Preparation :

  1. Preheat grill to low.
  2. Trim excess fat and remove membrane from underside of ribs then rub with olive oil.
  3. Combine paprika, cumin, pepper and salt and rub onto both sides of ribs.
  4. Drizzle ribs with Canadian Club® or water then wrap racks separately in 2 layers of aluminum foil and place on grill, meat side up.
  5. Close lid and cook for 1 1/2 hours.
  6. Remove foil from ribs and continue cooking with the lid open for 20 to 30 minutes, turning every 5 minutes or so.
  7. Brush with Canadian Club® Hickory Bold Barbecue Sauce and cook for 5 to 10 minutes longer, turning once.
Cut into 3-bone pieces and serve.
